About Me
I am Dave and I trade Forex.
Before that, I traded, well...everything! Options, Stock, Warrants, Futures....you name it.
Surprisingly, I was not profitable...can't imagine why with all that choping and change vehicles, strategies etc. Remarkably 11 years on I have only blown up two accounts. The good news is that if you weathered the storm and are still going this long the chances of succeeding are pretty good.
So now I am focused on succeeding....through Forex trading. Starting with EA's ('cause I work full time), but then once it's a stable income moving into more manual and discretionary trading.

Today, I like hedging strategies. They just seem to make sense to me. I don't know where the market will go so I just go both ways until it picks a direction. I could be on a fools errand but my 11 years of experience seems to guide me back to hedging type strategies provided you have good risk management.
Aside from all this, I don't take life too seriously and make sure I have a balance. I love my family, and make time for exercise (either on my bike or at the tennis courts).
Acting In My Own Best Interests!
Why this as my title? Well....I think it just resonated with me. Do no interpret this as selfishness, I use it as a mantra to keep me focused on the most important issues in my life. My Family are my best interests!
It's in my best interests to trade for a living (and adhere to strict risk management) so I can spend more time with my family.
